The Dean's List is an academic award given each semester to students who achieve a high semester GPA while taking a full course load (usually 12+ credits).

The GPA Cutoff: At most universities, the cutoff is exactly a 3.5 semester GPA.

Does it matter? It looks great on a resume for internships and entry-level jobs. It proves you have a consistent track record of academic excellence.
