Is a 4.0 GPA Good?

The Perfect 4.0

A 4.0 GPA means you have earned an 'A' in every single class you've taken. It is flawless. Yes, it is incredibly good.

However, a 4.0 is not a golden ticket. Elite employers and admissions officers will look at how you got that 4.0. Did you take the easiest classes possible? Did you have zero extracurriculars? A 3.8 with incredible internships is often more valuable than a 4.0 with nothing else on the resume.
